Data Deletion Instructions
Applies to: Oviyn Auto DM, the Lead Portal, and Oviyn WhatsApp API.
Request deletion of your information
You can request deletion of information held by Oviyn Media by emailing support@oviyn.com.
Use the subject line:
Data Deletion Request — Oviyn
Include:
- The Oviyn product you used.
- Your account email, relevant WhatsApp number, or Instagram/Facebook username.
- The business or workspace involved, if known.
- Whether you want to delete your account or particular information.
Do not send passwords, access tokens, API keys, or copies of identity documents with your initial request.
What happens next
We will:
- Acknowledge your request within 5 business days.
- Verify that the request concerns your information or an account you are authorized to manage.
- Identify and delete the applicable information, subject to necessary legal or security exceptions.
- Notify you when the request is completed or explain any information that must be retained.
Our target completion period is 2 weeks, subject to applicable requirements.
If your information is processed on behalf of a business using Oviyn, we may coordinate with that business to complete the request.
Information covered by deletion
Depending on your request and the product used, deletion may cover:
- Account and workspace information.
- Stored messages and related interaction records.
- Lead-form submissions and contact information.
- Campaign, automation, and appointment records.
- Stored Meta account identifiers and integration credentials.
Limited records may be retained where necessary for legal obligations or security. Backup copies expire according to [Confirmed backup expiry period].
Disconnecting a Meta account
You can also remove the relevant Oviyn app or business integration through your Meta account’s settings.
Disconnecting stops future authorized access. It does not, by itself, delete previously stored information from Oviyn. Send a deletion request if you also want that information removed.
Information held by other services
Deleting information from Oviyn does not automatically delete copies held by Meta, the business you contacted, or optional integration services such as Google Sheets or an AI provider.
Where applicable, contact those services or the relevant business to request deletion of their copies.
